The Kingdom of God on Earth

Happy Father's Day 2020!

The best title and one word description of the God who created the universe is: FATHER.

His son Jesus showed us the way to be both a son and a father. This fatherhood discipleship is the method and means by which Jesus taught us to raise His sons into His Kingdom. But are we really doing it His way?

The performance oriented "church" is not a good environment to truly raise sons into His kingdom the way that Jesus did. The programs and organizations that we create for Him are often an affront to true "Kingdom of God" building. Sonship is not anymore easy than raising natural children. It requires time and attention to dirty diapers with little glory from men. But this is Father God's method and we need to endeavor to keep it.

Over the past 20+ years, Kenny Mitchell has been like a spiritual father to me in many ways. It is now my honor to both promote and publish Kenny's book: "The Kingdom of God on Earth." This book is now available to read in: 1) web-site format, 2) e-book or 3) request a hardcopy as supplies last. Kenny is a retired NASA administrator who has been a mentor to me personally in how to live God's Kingdom both at home and in the workplace. Kenny and I have both worked here in Huntsville Alabama for decades on the Army's Redstone Arsenal.

Huntsville Alabama's U.S. Space and Rocket Center has recently published a book written by Kenny Mitchell called: "The Cradle of American Space Exploration - Huntsville Alabama"(1) which was printed for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo11 moon landing. The Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama helped to pioneer the NASA space program in the 1960's to which Kenny contributed greatly. Kenny Mitchell (NASA bio) currently works as a consultant to NASA on programs that include the SpaceX (Elon Musk) design for cutting edge space travel technology.

Some of the greatest scientists and inventors who have ever lived have also been great (and often hidden) theologians. Sir Isaac Newton is one of them who wrote much on Bible prophecy including the classic "Observations upon the prophecies of Daniel"(2). Kenny Mitchell's career has always been as an engineer and scientist, but his theological mind is also just as sharp. I have seen him teach the Bible on numerous occasions and his new book does a masterful job of opening up the Scriptures.

Besides bringing the "Father heart" of God, the next greatest thing to truly bring His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, is knowing His Holy Spirit embodied in the Seven Spirits of God. This is the most exciting aspect of Kenny's new book! He details the 7 Spirits of God and how they operate in every culture, and interface within communities. Here is a quick summary chart which is explained much further in the book:

We are at the end of the age of religion; and the beginning of the age of the Kingdom. Jesus was a revolutionary against Pharisees/Saducees/Religious lawyers, and He still is a revolutionary against modern day religion through His true followers. These true followers will first have His Father's heart, and second they will be full of these 7 Spirits like Jesus: "There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch (Jesus) shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the Fear of the LORD." -- Isaiah 11:1-2. I pray these 7 Spirits every morning by lighting a Menorah and inviting them into my life, my city, my nation and in the earth!

Lately, the Spirit of the Fear of the LORD has been highlighted to me for my nation of America. Our generation is ending the time of the Laodicean church age challenged by greed, pride and unbridled self. But when the Spirit of the Fear of the LORD has free reign, then law enforcement will not need to use their weapons, because people will do what is right out of reverence for their creator God. I pray for true godly gatekeepers in the community gate of law enforcement to be strengthened with this Spirit of the Fear of the LORD so we can have true peace from heaven.
